Dates, Times, Cost

This year's Summer Workshop will be held ​in person (details below).

Students may sign up for up to 2 classes: Extemp Speaking, Public Speaking, Basic Debate, or Competitive Debate.

All of our classes will be in-person, held at QD Academy: 4100 Legacy Dr, Plano, TX 75024.

• Students now have the option to sign up for two in-person classes (one speaking and one debate), since they will occur at different times. For example, a student may register for both Public Speaking and Debate if they wish.
• ​Public Speaking and Extemporaneous Speaking classes are from 9 AM to 12 PM CST
• Basic Debate and Competitive Debate classes are from 1 PM to 4 PM CST​​

Current Class Rules (subject to change):

• Parents must drop their students off and pick them up at the front door. No parents are allowed inside the facility, such as spectating classes.
• Students must respect the facility, including all classrooms, desks, chairs, etc. 
• No food or drink allowed in classrooms.

Class Information

Elementary, middle, and high schoolers: join us for our annual summer speech and debate workshop. It is a one week bootcamp that will teach students how to speak confidently and think critically; each day is a full day of creativity and public speaking!
