Dates, Times, Cost

This year's Summer Workshop will be held ​online on zoom.

Students may sign up for up to 2 classes: Extemp Speaking, Public Speaking, Basic Debate, or Competitive Debate.

Class Information

Elementary, middle, and high schoolers: join us for our annual summer speech and debate workshop. It is a one week bootcamp that will teach students how to speak confidently and think critically; each day is a full day of creativity and public speaking!

Speaking Classes

Public Speaking is focused on general skill-building, such as the basics of speaking & fluency. This is an important skill for all students, regardless of age; we'll teach students how to communicate and create logical arguments.

Extemp Speaking is focused on structured speaking skills, as seen in extemporaneous speaking. This is important for those competing at speech tournaments, as well as generally helping students hone their limited-preparation speaking skills. We'll teach students how to communicate in this speaking format, and help them create effective extemp speeches.
